Beaches - Some of the finest, cleanest beaches in Europe are only a short distance from Vivenda Rosa Maria. It is possible to walk to the beach in 25 minutes or drive in 5 minutes.
Restaurants - Whether you fancy fresh fish, chicken Piri-Piri or pizza there are a multitude of options available. Please check the notice board in the Villa for recommendations.
Getting around - It is advisable to hire a car whilst staying at the villa, this will enable you to make the most of your stay in the Algarve. For evenings out and trips into town then the easiest way to travel is via taxi, we have a long standing relationship with a very reliable taxi driver and his mobile number will be made available in the Villa. There is also a reliable bus service which runs from the top of the development to Albufeira every 30 minutes during the week from 7am until 8pm, and every 60 minutes at weekends.
Golf - The Algarve is famous for it's golf courses, some of our guests return every year to take advantage of the choice and variation. Pine Cliffs (Sheraton 9 holes) is 2 km away, Vilamoura has numerous courses on offer and all are within 15 km (including Laguna, Millenium, The Old Course, Pinhal and Vila Sol).
Attractions - The Algarve has numerous attractions for those who would like more than just a 'beach holiday'. There are 2 water slide parks within 30 minutes drive, Aqualand and Slide & Splash. For younger guests and families Zoomarine is very popular. If you are unlucky and the weather takes a turn for the worst, then Shopping Algarve has covered shopping, a food court and cinema. Vilamoura Marina provides high end restaurants, clothes shops and a Casino for those with money to burn. There are a number of yacht/ boat tours available from both Albufeira and Vilamoura marinas. Horse Riding is available just a stones throw from the Villa.
Supermarkets & Shopping - There are plenty of supermarkets (supermercado) within 5 minutes drive of the Villa. Intermarche just outside Olhos D'Agua has the most choice, however if you simply need the 'basics' then the petrol station (within 5 minutes walking distance) has all the essentials.
